Two and Tree Year Old Daily Schedule
|
The children in Mr. Jakes class are usually between ages 24 months and 36 months old. These children thrive on the wonderful program that has been designed for them. There is equal amount of gross motor and fine motor skill activities that are alternated throughout the day. They have independent child directed free play, teacher directed play activities and time with their teachers one on one. Each child has the opportunity to play games in math, science and language arts every day. The children have expert instruction in music, yoga, and dance. There is plenty of time out doors in our organic garden and on our playground. Children who are developmentally prepared are encouraged to spend time in our K4/K5 classroom where they experience more advanced academic and social activities. This makes the transition between the classes easier for every child. The teachers share responsibility for caring for every child, so each child has a team of incredible teachers they feel happy and comfortable with every day. |
